When you donate $25 or more to FoPB, you become a member, which entitles you to our semi-annual newsletter by mail, notices of events and meetings, and a vote for board of directors.

Make a donation to support the Friends of Pleasant Bay for the Generations.

Contributions from your IRA

If you are 70½ or older, you can make a contribution of up to $100,000 a year directly from your IRA to Friends of Pleasant Bay.

In Memory or Honor

Make a donation to the Friends of Pleasant Bay in memory or honor of a friend or family member.

The Impact of Your Donations

In FY 2024, member contributions totaled nearly $115,000, contributing 96% of FoPB revenue. With this, we were able to spend $91,000 on grants and contracts that have allowed us to develop projects including Pleasant Bay Community Boating, First Sail & Floating Classroom Field Trips, Education Grants, and the Sipson Island Float Replacement.

We look forward to a successful FY 2025 as we take on a new strategic plan to advance community education and forward our preservation efforts.
