First Day Hikes Cape Cod

The fourth annual event, taking place on Jan. 1, 2025, encourages people to get outdoors and join free guided walks and activities in Cape Cod’s parks, trails, and natural resources. First Day Hikes Cape Cod has previously attracted hundreds of people from across the Cape and beyond, according to organizers. This year’s celebration will include 18 events throughout the day, including sunrise hikes, nature walks, educational programs, bonfires, and more.
NEW! Regional Event Calendar
The Compact of Cape Cod Conservation Trusts and its nonprofit members, including Friends of Pleasant Bay, are excited to launch a new regional calendar of events — the first of its kind in the region.
The Conservation Calendar features programs and events from villages and towns across Cape Cod, enabling visitors and residents alike to view, at a glance, the wide variety of nature and environmental events occurring every week.
